All About Me!

I have been fortunate enough to meet some very influential musicians while trying to set myself up vocally through various choirs and talent competitions.

Two of these people being Charlie Derrick and Richie Blake (guitar and bass) who introduced me to the professional music scene in Weston-Super-Mare aged 16. There I met a wealth of talented musicians and vocalists who were interested in a new voice. I entered and won talent competitions with pianist/vocalist Steve Williams who encouraged my love for a more soulful sound.

I have been in several types of function bands which have entertained wedding guests, corporate functions, open air festivals and saturday night boozers. I got the front man skills from being in bands to be able to start going out as a solo artist and have the same variety of gig experience. Valentines dinners right through to New Years Eve parties and absolutely everything in between!

Doing such different events calls for a set list which caters for everyone. There’s a sample of what I do on the music page…

That’s only a brief biog but basically what I’m trying to say is I’m a bit of an all rounder. I love doing the dinner party soft jazz set but can also put on a great show for a special party. You tell me what it is you want and I will provide!
